FAQ
The questions attorneys actually ask us.
Is this a loan?
No. Settlement funding is a non-recourse advance against the future settlement. If the case loses, the client owes nothing. There are no monthly payments, no credit checks, and no personal liability for repayment.
How much funding can a client receive?
Typically $500 to $100,000+, depending on the strength and likely settlement value of the case. We sometimes go higher for catastrophic-injury and mass-tort cases.
How fast can my client get funds?
Most applications get a decision within 24 hours. Once approved and signed, funds are wired the same business day — typically 24-48 hours total from application to wire.
What does it cost?
Fees vary by case but are spelled out plainly in the contract before anyone signs. You and your client see the full payoff schedule by month — no surprise escalators, no hidden compounding.
What information do you need to underwrite a case?
Initially: a quick application with case type, accident date, defendant insurer, injury description, and amount requested. After review we may ask for the police report, demand letter, or medical records — but only what we need to make the decision.
What case types do you fund?
Most personal-injury matters: auto, trucking, motorcycle, premises liability, slip-and-fall, medical malpractice, workers' compensation, product liability, wrongful death, mass tort, and construction injury. If you're not sure, ask.
How does BlueRock get paid?
We're paid directly out of the settlement proceeds at disbursement. We send a written payoff letter to your trust account when the case settles. The client pays nothing out of pocket.
Do you have a portal for my firm?
Yes. Once your firm is onboarded, you and your team can submit applications, track approvals, sign agreements, and review payoff letters from one dashboard. Log in from the link in the top right.
Where do you operate?
We fund cases in most U.S. states. Reach out if you need confirmation for your jurisdiction.
